Dr. Arif Ahmad, Ph.D
Dr. Arif Ahmad is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (A Central University), Hyderabad, Telangana.
He has completed his post-graduation from department of Zoology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He has received his Ph.D. degree from department of Biosciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He has received Post-Doctoral Young Scientist Fellowship from SERB-DST, New Delhi. He also qualified CSIR/UCG-NET and received CSIR, Junior Research Fellowship during his Ph.D.
Dr. Ahmad has about 14 years of research and teaching experience. During this period, he has published several research articles in peer reviewed international journals, such as Fertility and Sterility, Translational Oncology, Macedonian Journal of Medical Sciences, Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, Advanced Techniques in Biology & Medicine and Cancer Biomarkers. His core area of research interest is cancer biology. He has developed a new technique of mutation detection for screening of cancer.
He is life member of “The Indian Science Congress Association” Kolkata, India. He has also contributed in the review article in European Journal of Experimental Biology and a Book chapter published by Oxford: Academic Press, Elsevier. He has successfully completed two research projects funded by SERB-DST and UCG, New Delhi.
