Dr. Saima Naz Khan completed her Post-Graduation in Genetics from Department of Zoology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She was the recipient of  gold medal for securing highest marks in her Post-Graduation. She received her Ph.D from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Her doctoral research was focused on the molecular characterization of candidate gene and associated genes in Wilson’s Disease, a neurodegenerative disorder.

Dr. Khan took up a post-doctoral research fellowship at  All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Her post-doctoral research was focused on  understanding   the molecular mechanism of male infertility. She also has a complete exposure in conducting clinical trials and genetic counselling.

She has about 15 years research and teaching experience. During this period, she has published several research articles in peer reviewed journals like International Journal of Human Genetics, Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention: APJCP, Journal of Anatomical Society of India, She is a lifetime member of Delhi Neurological Association, India and also a life member of Movement Disorder Society, MDS, USA. She has also contributed in Book chapter: Epigenetic landscape of infertility, Prognostic Epigenetics, published by Elsevier, Oxford.
