Dr. Ashish Fauzdar completed his doctorate degree in Reproductive Genetics from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi on a topic entitled “Chromosome Aneuploidy & Mosacisim in Preimplantation Embryos”. He is also technical assessor for the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) for Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics.
He has more than 20 years of professional experience while working with various academic institutions like AIIMS, Indraprastha Apollo, international renowned infertility clinics like Medicover and reputed international and national diagnostic laboratories like Quest Diagnostics.
Dr. Fauzdar has a keen interest in clinical genetics with expertise in Cytogenetics and Molecular Cytogenetics techniques including Fluorescence In-Situ Hybridization (FISH) and Chromosome Microarray (CMA). He has special interest working on the genetic aspect of the patient undergoing prenatal diagnosis, Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL), Preimplantation Genetics Screening (PGS), male and female infertility.
He has more than 25 scientific publications in various national and international indexed journals and has done numerous scientific presentations at various conferences at national and international level.
He is Life Member of Indian Fertility Society, The Indian Society for Prenatal Diagnosis and Therapy (ISPAT), Board of Genetic Counselling of India.
