Dr. Kapil Bandil completed his post-graduation in Biochemistry from Department of Biochemistry, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedker University, Agra, Uttar Pradesh (U P) followed by M.Tech. (Biotechnology) with GATE fellowship from Department of Biotechnology, Madhav Institute of Technology and Sciences, Gwalior, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He is an alumnus from A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh where he had received his Ph.D in Biotechnology. His doctoral research focuses on “Role of transcription factor in development of prostate cancer in the north Indian population in collaboration with the National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (NICPR), Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
He was also been awarded Senior Research Fellowship under the ICMR Fellowship Scheme. He is a multi-disciplinary research professional with a strong background in Molecular and Cell Biology. He has published various articles in international/national journals of high impact factor.
Dr. Bandil believes in the quote by Patrick Ness, A Monster Calls “You do not write your life with words…You write it with actions. What you think is not important. It is only important what you do.”
He has contributed as organiser in various workshops on Basic Cell and Molecular Biology Techniques relevant to Cancer Research. He has participated and delivered lectures in various international/national conferences in addition to posters presentation.
