Dr. Saman Ahmad completed her graduation (B.Sc. Hons) and post-graduation (M.Sc.) degrees in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University. She then join the Department of Biochemistry, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University for her Ph.D in Clinical Biochemistry.

Her research work involved biochemical and immunological studies on glycated human IgG and its possible role in rheumatoid arthritis. She has several years of research experience in the area: “Role of glycated human IgG in cancer and diabetes mellitus and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)”. She has presented her work in several national and international conferences and has also published her work in peer-reviewed journals of repute.

Dr. Ahmad has been the recipient of various scholarships at various stages of her academic career., the most noteworthy being “Maulana Azad National Fellowship” in the year 2010-2011 during her Ph. D. She is passionate about teaching and her professional commitments include helping enthusiastic students tread their chosen career paths with ease as well as guiding and motivating them to achieve their goals.

She believes that science should be accessible for everyone in every corner of the world. Additionally, it is equally important to be aware about health and hygiene. Therefore, she continuously engaged in writing content on clinically relevant topics in health & disease management that can help the general public become aware.
