Aabir Bio-Services Foundation (ABSF) is “not-for-profit” Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and it is registered under section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013.
Aabir Bio-Services Foundation is committed to bridge the gap between science and society through continuous public engagement programmes and knowledge transfer about common and preventable diseases in women and girls in India.
According to “World Health Organization”, the health of women and girls is of particular concern because in many societies they are disadvantaged by discrimination rooted in socio-cultural factors. Our core area of work is prevention and disease control related to women and girls health, with a focus on cervical cancer. One woman dies of cervical cancer every two minutes around the globe, making it one of the greatest threats to women’s health and lives. Most of these women are not diagnosed early enough, and lack access to life-saving treatment.
The WHO’s Global Strategy guides action, with targets to prevent cervical cancer via HPV vaccination, screening using high-performance tests and treatment of precancerous lesions and invasive cancers.
Our Vision:
A cervical cancer free future for women and girls in India, where cervical cancer screening, vaccination, treatment and palliative care are more affordable, available, accessible and acceptable to the underprivileged population.
Our Mission:
To deliver cervical cancer screening to women and girls in India using screen and treat approach, aligned with the WHO (World Health Organization) cervical cancer elimination goals, prioritizing the underprivileged population.
Founder's Message

The idea of Aabir Bio-Services Foundation stemmed from an urge to help family, friends, and loved ones with crucial awareness about cervical cancer that can be prevented through simple awareness, timely screening, vaccination and treatment. However, it soon transformed beautifully into a platform that supporting women and girls with trusted health information and helped us to connect brilliant scientific minds and the concept of preventive health with the masses who needed information but didn’t know where to look for it. This in turn helped dispel many myths and clear misconceptions about preventive healthcare services in general and disease prevention and control among women and girls in particular.

Know The Founder:
Md. Kausar Neyaz completed his post graduation in Biotechnology from the Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. He received his Ph.D in Molecular Biology from the department of Biosciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He completed his doctoral research in collaboration with National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research, Noida, India. His doctoral research specialized in molecular characterization of tumor suppressor gene in Human Papillomavirus infected cervical cancer in Indian population.
Dr. Neyaz took up a post-doctoral research fellowship at Indiana School of Medicine, Indianapolis, USA. His post-doctoral research was focused on understanding the tropism and co-receptor preferences of envelopes for entry into primary cells and development of neutralizing monoclonal antibodies to block HIV infection.
He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resource Management from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, Pune, India.
He has more than two decades of experience in education and research with specialization in development of cancer biomarkers. He worked with global leaders in molecular diagnostics and life science research based multinational corporations and a multi-specialty tertiary care hospitals in India. During this period, he has published several research articles in peer reviewed international journals.
Dr. Neyaz is proactively engages in creating mass awareness about common diseases in women and girls and that is preventable in nature through continuous public engagement programmes. He is founder of the Aabir Bio-Services Foundation a "not-for-profit" Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) with the vision statement: “A cervical cancer free future for women and girls in India, where cervical cancer screening, vaccination, treatment and palliative care are more affordable, available, accessible and acceptable to the underprivileged population”. In this capacity, he has participated in various scientific conferences and workshops across the country as speaker and panellist.
